Description
The pass-through plant is designed for inline washing steps. This machine has the highest throughput out of all the machines we offer.
A spray tunnel with a transport belt is used to transport the parts from one step to the next. A chain to transport trays or parts can also be added.
Depending on your requirements, there is a cleaning step with one or more rinsing steps. RP or passivation is also possible and may be added. Drying may be done individually with hot air, blowing of compressed air or a vacuum by using a tray for the transport and discontinuous transport.
- To increase part cleanliness, there are ultrasonics available. We also offer assebly lines to connect the system as a production line with loading and unloading robots.
- All the common processing options like filtration and oil-separation are available.
- Every pass-through cleaner is custom designed to fit the application.
- Connection to existing part transport system
- Any number of cleaning and rinsing stations
- Oil separator, evaporator or complete demin-water recirculation facilities to extend the bath service life
- Ultrasound immersion baths
- Vacuum drying in cycled operation
There are usually three types of standard cleanliness requirements:
- Gravimetry
The total weight of the particles can characterize the cleanliness of the parts
- Microscopy
The size, material and number of particles, classified in specific sizes will define specific cleanliness levels. Most automotive OEM’s use this or a similar method of a base for their individual specification
- Surface Tension
The DYNE specification measures the surface tension on part surfaces, primarily prior to and after surface treatment processes. The higher the number, the better the result.
Throughout our inhouse cleaning laboratory, cleaning results can be verified, and reports will be made available for our customers.
The basis for all inspections of technical cleanliness is regulated in the VDA 19, the Association of the German Automotive industry.
