North South Machinery is proud to announce its support of rising off-road racing talent Hunter Kate Valadez as she steps into her first season competing in the Ultra4 Youth 1000 class for 2026.
Hunter’s move to the Youth 1000 class marks an exciting next chapter in an already impressive racing career. Over the past two years, she has proven herself as one of the most dominant young drivers in the sport — earning National Champion and West Coast Champion titles in the 170 Stock Class, all while maintaining a remarkable record of zero rollovers (and only a few bicycles along the way).
“I’m sad not to be racing the 170, but excited to be racing the faster car,” said Hunter. “I’m ready for the challenge and excited for what’s ahead.”
The 2026 season will see Hunter take on bigger courses, faster speeds, and tougher competition, beginning with her highly anticipated debut in the Youth 1000 class at King of the Hammers 2026. Her season schedule includes races across some of the most iconic off-road venues in the country:
2026 Race Schedule
- King of the Hammers (KOH) – Johnson Valley, CA
- Area BFE Beatdown – Moab, Utah
- Big Sky 200 – Broadview, Montana
- NorCal Stampede – Rancho Cordova, California
- Nationals – Leatherwood, Kentucky
“At North South Machinery, we’re passionate about supporting driven individuals who embody determination, precision, and a relentless pursuit of excellence,” said Jim Swartzbaugh. “Hunter’s talent, discipline, and fearless approach to racing make her a perfect fit for our brand, and we’re excited to be part of her journey as she takes this next step.”
With momentum on her side and a new class ahead, the 2026 season promises to be a defining year for Hunter Kate Valadez, and North South Machinery is proud to be along for the ride.
